This Privacy Policy describes how the IELTS AI Tutor Content Factory ("the Service", "we", "us") handles your information when you use our application.
1. Information We Handle
To provide our Service, we process the following data:
- User-Provided Prompts: The text prompts you enter to generate content. These are sent to the Google Gemini API to create the carousel slides.
- Generated Content: The images, captions, and hashtags generated by the AI. This content is temporarily processed on our server before being sent to the TikTok API.
- TikTok Authentication Data: If you connect your TikTok account, we receive an
access_token,refresh_token, and youropen_idfrom TikTok. These are required to post drafts to your account via the official TikTok API. We do not receive or store your TikTok password.
2. Data Storage and Security
We are committed to protecting your data. Our practices include:
- Ephemeral Processing: User prompts and generated content are processed in-memory and are not stored on our servers long-term. They are discarded after a request is completed.
- Secure Token Storage: Your TikTok authentication tokens (
access_token, etc.) are stored as secure environment variables within our Google Cloud Run service environment, following industry best practices for managing API keys and secrets. They are not accessible to the public or frontend application.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your data. We share data with the following third-party services only as necessary for the application to function:
- Google Gemini API: Your text prompts are sent to Google's API to generate content. Your data is subject to Google's privacy policy.
- TikTok API: The generated images, captions, and your access token are sent to the TikTok API to create draft posts in your account. Your data is subject to TikTok's privacy policy.
4. Your Control and Rights
You have control over your data. You can revoke the Service's access to your TikTok account at any time by visiting the "Manage app permissions" section in your TikTok account settings. Doing so will prevent the Service from posting any further drafts to your account.
